Phyics既Energy`

發問:

1. Energy cannot be created or destroyed. This is called the principle of _________ of _________. 2. How much energy is needed to heat up 1-kg water from 0 ℃ to 100℃? 3.Suppose we heat up 1-kg water by 10℃. If we tansfer the same amount of energy to 2-kg water, how much will the temperature rise?

最佳解答:

1. conservation; energy 2. Heat needed = 1 x 4200 x 100 J = 420 000 J where 4200 J/kg-C is the specific heat capacity of water 3. 5 degree C, since the energy is now spreaded over to 2 kg of water. Hence, the temperature rise = 10/2 'C = 5'C
