I would like to buy a new car, which model is better, Jetta or Corolla?

Corolla is reliable and dependable, getting you from Point A to Point B without any issue -- and without any emotional experience as well. Built-quality is good, but not much design value factoring in at all. No driving fun as well. It's just a car that will get the job done, but not flashy at all. Jetta is half-step above Corolla when comes to "Class". The material used for the interior is better. The engine has better torque distribution. If you go for the 2.0T FSI engine, you are basically driving a VW GTI with a trunk attached to the hatch! A decently fast sedan with minimal maintenance. The 1.4TSI engine is not bad either. Because Jetta is based on the Golf platform, handling is superb compares to other cars in this class. Maintenance cost, of course, is higher than the Corolla. So, bottom line is, if you can afford it and wants a little more than just a transportation media to get you from Point A to Point B, get the Jetta. Otherwise, get the Corolla.
